Coppertone has issued a voluntary recall for five of its aerosol sunscreen products over concerns of benzene contamination. Voluntarily, Coppertone decided to recall twelve different batches of product this week, and among these 12, 5 of them were spray-on sunscreen. ![]() The 12 recalled lots can be found at which was communicated by the FDA and in the voluntary recall press release.Īdditionally, it is also important to remember that during these hot summer months where the sun is strongest, reading application directions carefully and re-applying often as the FDA advises is crucial to ensure effective sun protection.
